MBKM

In the curriculum of the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering (DAFT) UAJY for the Undergraduate program, the implementation of students' right to study outside the campus is accommodated in a conversion scheme that is integrated into the curriculum structure. Broadly speaking, there are MBKM programs that are integrated into the curriculum structure that are accommodated, namely:

  1. Internship, required in semester 6 in the form of part-time internship of 8 credits or in a more comprehensive package with Course sections that can be converted into Full-Time Internship worth 19 credits 
  2. Student Exchange accommodated in the conversion of Skills Development Courses worth 3 credits. For the requirements to complete the theory, students are required to take 5 Skills Development Courses which can be started from semester 5 to semester 7. 
  3. Research accommodated in the equivalent of the Research Studio and Architectural Design course for the Research concentration worth 8 credits 

Meanwhile, other MBKM programs and other forms of fulfilling the right to study outside the campus can be converted according to the needs and requirements set by the study program, such as: 

  1. Humanitarian Projects, Village Development, Entrepreneurship, Independent and Campus Projects can be carried out in the form of workshops or architectural expeditions with the approval of the study program 
  2. Expertise Certification Programs can be carried out at certification institutions that have collaborated with DAFT to support student abilities while providing different experiences. 
  3. Entrepreneurship and Thematic KKN Programs can be adjusted to the needs of the community in accordance with the provisions of UAJY and obtain approval from the DAFT Undergraduate study program.
